British Specialist Nutrition Association (BSNA)

BSNA provides specialized services for companies in the British nutritional sector.

We maintain, develop and support their B2B website which features a bespoke member dashboard platform for communications, collaboration and shared resources.

  • BSNA approach us to support their B2B website in October 2021. During our introductory calls, they reported the following issues:

    • Unable to efficiently understand and modify their public-facing website content and functionality

    • Widespread performance issues

    • Bugs and errors in their member dashboard

    Most of these problems emerged due to general neglect by the former agency which struggled with availability and ultimately closed doors.

  • Given the age and complexity of the site, we conducted an in-depth technical audit of the website. We found a lot of unnecessary bloat (overkill plugins and outdated front-end tech) and general config/UX inefficiencies.

  • In addition to general TLC, which would be a long-term effort, the platform urgently needed to be modernised and upgraded so that we would be able to fix and maintain all critical functionalities.

    • Long-term plan to position for an upgrade to Craft v4 and v5

    Everything we recommended was actioned and BSNA achieved a stable B2B website with secure and reliable member dashboard utility.
